Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is situated in a lovely location, overlooking a picturesque village by the river, perfect for exploring the Border towns and enjoying scenic walks. The rooms are clean, tastefully decorated, and offer a comfortable stay. The service provided by Dawn & David was exceptional, making us feel welcomed and cared for. The dining experience, offering a delightful gluten-free selection, was top-notch. However, additional charges for dogs could be a downside for pet owners.
I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable and well-equipped room with a view and a patio, considering it was listed as a 'budget' room. The location felt safe and beautiful, offering easy access to Border towns with lovely walks and great links. The dining experience was really nice, although there was an extra charge for both person and overnight dog stays. The new hosts were exceptionally friendly and professional, making my stay enjoyable.
